About Us


Championship Nutrition provides consultations to intermediate and high school athletic programs to promote optimal nutrition safety for athletics and spirit squads. This program began in 2008 and was formed by dietitians Emmy Trammell, Chelsea Capelo, and Misti Sanchez.  After interviewing local high school coaches, nurses, and faculty, they saw the need to educate student athletes in basic nutrition, performance nutrition, hydration, and other important topics for overall nutritional health.  They began by presenting to students and faculty in public schools in the Jefferson County area.
